11:48pm: Son of a bitch! I just accidentally deleted half my entry! This is so lame.

Argh, I don't have time to redo this entry...I mean I do, but I don't feel like it, I've been helping Mum carrying in furniture.

But! Suffice to say I was much relieved to hear on the news that a plane that crashed off the end of a runway in Jamaica resulted in no fatalities! A real Christmas miracle!

Also a Christmas miracle, a young child managed to survive been locked in a car for 20 minutes yesterday. It was about 40 degrees C out in western Sydney, and inside a car it would have been over 50! Apparently the mother says she forgot the kid was in the car! How's that possible, I mean, wouldn't she have noticed him when she got out of the car? My mother forget the dog was at the vet's once, but that's not the same at all...

But yeah, the kid will be OK, though the mother is going to be fined big time.

11:19pm: Very sleepy! Which is a bit odd, because I woke up at a reasonable hour and went to bed at a reasonable hour.

Then again, it could be from having gone out today to finish my Christmas shopping, it was quite hot and I certainly ended up with a headache that only went away when I took something for it!

Aww crap, I just realised I missed The National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! I've seen it like three times, but it's always fun to watch. Oh well, I listened to The Corrs instead, they're always cool. :OD

Well, roughly a week until the torture by christmas music ends, and the regular, crappy muzak is back at work. How many versions of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" can one person stand? I have no idea, I didn't count how many versions there are on the endless loop the muzak is on...I shudder to think.

Sunday was an interesting foray into a christmastime packed mall. I was able to get my secret santa present for work, and scored a neat "teddy bear fur" lined hooded sweatshirt at Anchor Blue, on sale! Which was sweet! And I only got stepped on once! The mall was a zoo, which was expected. I have to question my sanity sometimes.

11:05pm: Indeed! My father was originally supposed to go into the city to pick up something for Rui my sister-in-law, Big bro aka Mike is going back Japan tomorrow and hence that'll be his chance to take them.

So I caught the buses (the second one I needed to take came in as the one I was on was arriving) and got there at just before 12pm to find...

Nothing was there waiting for me! The gallery owner hadn't got the email from Rui and hadn't got the jewellery together! And son of a bitch she told me the jewellery wouldn't be ready until 4pm!

Now, I'm poor, so I didn't feel like wasting my Travel Tens going home so I could come right back out, so instead I stayed there in the Surry Hills area waiting for 4pm to come. Luckily when I spoke to Mike he pointed me in the direction of the Surry Hills Library and the computers there.

Unfortunately, the computers had shit screens and my eyeballs didn't take long to get annoyed, so I gave up that and borrowed a book to read instead.

Finally at a quarter past three I headed back to the gallery and thankfully the jewellery was ready, just five pieces! I have a terrible feeling they got that stuff together like half an hour after I left I should have told them to call me!

Anyway, luckily for me the buses were frequent and I was able to get back home in good time even taking into account I went to Dymocks and got Mum's present. I went to Rebel Sport too for golf balls for Grandpa, but alas, they only had really expensive ones, or shitty yellow cheap ones! Yellow? Seriously? It's not a mini-golf course. I'll go to different shop tomorrow.

No idea what to get M though...

My AMC just got a Digital 3D projector. I saw Avatar Thursday night. OMG such a good movie! 3 hours long, but worth the 3 hours of sleep I got that night. :p

We're going to the Cafe tonight and bringing someone I work at AMC with.

Anywho, to get to the subject of this post today was the family get together up at my Aunt Weed's house. Much fun was had, a good food consumed! :OD For a while it looked like it might rain so a tarpulin was put up, but then of course it didn't.

We also met Weed's new boyfriend, Bruce and his mother, they're both really nice.

However, in the end I couldn't go shopping, firstly because I had high heels on that give me blisters and secondly because we got back a bit later than originally thought so there wouldn't have been much time.

I shall go in tomorrow though.

Hmmm, I feel like I should write more about the Family BBQ, but aside from the fact it was fun there isn't much to say. The brothers played soccer with cousin Mack though, which was nice, considering the huge age gap and all! I remember my older cousins were always quite distant when I was a kid.

10:50pm: Yes indeed, for first I had to get up real early to help my friend out...I only had 6 hours sleep, horrifying!

Then I had to drive back to the parentals to drop the car off and go back to Chatswood for work. And boy was it busy! It's the last Saturday before Christmas and the place was buzzing! And there's only one cash register! Which I think is rather poorly thoughtout, but I suppose they're expensive to get.

Anywho! I brought my cousin Mack's presents and something for my father too and got a staff discount, whoo! :O)

I still need to do some shopping though, maaan I'm so slow with that. What to get my big bro and my little bro and my grandparents, eek!

Then I went to Church, which was good, Ivan was there, always fun to talk to him. But I had to walk home after that and I'm such wuss after only four hours my feet were most uncomfortable. They're better now, thankfully!

Tomorrow, is going to be another busy day, what with my Aunt's party, after which we're going Chatswood so Mum can work at the church she works at, I'll use it as an opportunity to go shopping one last time there.

I also need to print off a few more Christmas cards, I brought red envelopes to go with them and I still have some people to send them too.

10:31pm: So the parental units are back, I went to the airport to pick them up, I'm still having trouble going over the bridge, most irritating!

I went over the Bridge actually because I needed to go via the old apartment to see if any mail had come for the big bro, it hadn't, I'm sure though that I wouldn't have liked going through the Tunnel much either.

Today, I woke up really late, which is to say, my brother got me up early to help him return his rental car before 8am, and then I went back to bed when I got home and didn't arise until 12:35pm! Son of a bitch! That's some oversleeping right there, and probably explains why until about 5pm I felt all dizzy and shit. Remember kids, oversleeping is bad.

Tomorrow is my volunteer work, yay! However, the fact I'm still jobless is of great concern to the parental units, and myself while we're at it. I mean c'mon, supermarkets won't even hire me! I'm offended and disturbed here. My friend suggests it's because I'm over 18, she may have a point. I mean if it's me against an 18 year old, they'll pick the cheaper option. But that doesn't put money in my pocket damnit.

Also, when my parents got back they asked me if I'd done the one thing I was supposed to while they were out, which was put out the green waste.

And guess what I hadn't done...yep.

Shiiit, the bin is totally full. Damn my ass.

I'm pretty good with my friends and communities on LJ at the moment, if I see something really interesting though I might friend them.
As for my RPG characters I hunt for places for them to hang out, although I think they're all set now. :O)

Pretty seriously, I don't want them to look shitty or anything.

I do! It's a family institution in fact! One always knows when a gift is from my grandparent's because M saves and reuses the same wrapping paper.

3. How picky are you when it comes to selecting wrapping paper?

Not very.

4. How much attention do you pay to the way gifts you receive are wrapped?

Not very, although I always mention if they're sticky taped. :O)

10:25pm: OK, so it was terribly hot out today, but really that's no excuse for me not going out! Oh damn so lazy, shameful! I also forgot to take my medication which is probably why I felt so weird today. Must remember to do so!

So I've been reading this community on journal fen called fandom_wank, and maaan do people wank, I should see what they have to say about Torchwood. 'Cause day-amn that was wank to the highest degree, LOL.

In other news, I woke up at almost noon today because I went and slept in my parents bed last night because my bed is kind of sucky in the spinal support catergory, so I didn't hear my alarm going off.

It's already Chanukah, so here's the Wishlist meme again...

First, the guidelines. Step One

10:58pm: When I woke up this morning my back was sore...this is bad, last time my back was uncomfortable like this I managed to throw it out a few weeks later. And sweet merciful crap that HURT! On a scale of 1 to 10 that was like an 8 (to me at least), I sure as Hell don't need that.

I was a bit concerned about the dog today, she was much subdued and didn't seem to be hungry, but she seems OK now, I just have to put her out for the night.
